What does an architect do for property developers?
We work alongside development teams from early feasibility through to construction completion. That means floorplate optimisation, consultant coordination, construction documentation, and staying involved on site to protect design intent through delivery. Our role is to help projects perform commercially as well as experientially.
How does Spacecraft approach hotel feasibility?
We get involved early – before design decisions lock in cost. We review floorplates for yield efficiency, align room counts and mix with operator requirements, and pressure-test the brief against budget from day one. Do you work with interstate developers?
Yes. While we’re based in Adelaide and Melbourne, we work on projects across Australia. We’re experienced in remote collaboration, interstate site visits, and working within different council and planning frameworks. Our construction documentation packages include architectural drawings, reflected ceiling plans, floor finish plans, joinery documentation, FF&E schedules, and consultant coordination. We produce documentation that builders can price accurately and construct with confidence – reducing RFIs and minimising on-site variation claims.
