The Project<\/h2>\n

A 39-storey, 483-room new build student accommodation tower at 533 Wellington Street, Perth, incorporating a heritage podium within the design. The building includes apartments, a communal kitchen, study spaces, an outdoor terrace and a sub-leased cafe at ground level.<\/p>\n

Our Role<\/h2>\n

Spacecraft led the interior design across all communal and residential spaces, working with architect MJA and builder Icon Construction. Our scope included full FF&E design and procurement, wayfinding strategy and artwork development, ensuring The Switch brand was embedded coherently throughout a complex building with both heritage and new build components.<\/p>\n

The Result<\/h2>\n

A fully delivered student accommodation building in central Perth that integrates heritage fabric with contemporary interior design, completed on programme with The Switch brand expressed consistently from lobby to rooftop.<\/p>\n

We selected Spacecraft for the delivery of our portfolio of over 1,000 apartments in student accommodation, co-living and build to rent projects across Australia. Spacecraft took the time to genuinely understand our brand proposition and how that related to the architectural outcomes for the building.
